AffiCLEAN® MycoX™ Removal Mix

AffiCLEAN® MycoX™ Removal Mix is a powerful, broad-spectrum antimicrobial reagent designed to eliminate mycoplasma contamination from mammalian cell cultures. Its 1000× concentrated format allows economical and long-term use while maintaining high efficacy and low cytotoxicity. Ideal for both adherent and suspension cell lines, it enables complete decontamination typically within 2–3 weeks without affecting cell viability.

Recommended Protocol

Dilution: Add 1 μL of MycoX™ to 1 mL of culture medium (final 1×).

Treatment Schedule:

  • Apply continuously for 4–6 cell passages (approx. 2–3 weeks)
  • Replace media every 2–3 days with fresh MycoX™

Post-Treatment: Validate decontamination using AffiPCR® or AffiZYME® mycoplasma detection kits.
