PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
AffiCHECK® Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) PCR Quantitative Positive Control is a high-quality reference standard containing defined quantities of Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) RNA. Engineered with modified, non-infectious viral particles, it ensures exceptional stability—supporting accurate, consistent results in PCR-based assays.
INTENDED USE:
AffiCHECK® Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) RNA PCR Quantitative Control supports validation and routine performance checks of PCR assays. It’s used for both qualitative detection and quantitative measurement of Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) RNA in clinical, research, and diagnostic workflows.

CHARACTERISTICS:
- Cultivation & Extraction: RNA is sourced from MRC-5 infected cells with the Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) and extracted using a standardized commercial method to ensure consistency for both qualitative detection and quantitative measurement.

PRECAUTIONS:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
- Open the foil pouch and retrieve the vial.
- Centrifuge at 1000 × g for 1 minute.
- Reconstitute the lyophilized RNA by adding the buffer volume specified in the included protocol.
- Vortex for 30 seconds to ensure full dissolution and homogenization.
- Add 50 μL of the Buffer and thoroughly mix until fully reconstituted.
- Final concentration: 1.25x10⁴ to 2x10⁴ Copies/µL (indicative).
- Exact concentration for each lot is provided in the Certificate of Analysis (COA).
RECOMMENDED STORAGE:
- Before Reconstitution: Store at 2-8ºC.
- After Reconstitution: Store at -90°C to -70°C.
