Overview
UTP, Uridine-5'-triphosphate, can be used in a variety of molecular biology applications, such as in vitro transcription, RNA amplification, siRNA synthesis, etc. In addition, UTP is involved in galactose metabolism. The activated form of UDP-galactose is converted to UDP-glucose, which participates in the glycogen synthesis pathway. This product is a transparent colorless aqueous solution prepared from UTP tris solution, and free from DNase and RNase contamination. This product is produced in accordance with GMP process requirements and provided in liquid form.
