AffiGEL®
AffiGEL® is AffiGEN’s line of hydrogel-based cell culture matrices designed to support both 2D and 3D cell culture systems. Formulated to mimic the mechanical and biochemical properties of the extracellular matrix (ECM), AffiGEL® media provide a physiologically relevant environment for cell adhesion, proliferation, differentiation, and organoid formation. Compatible with a broad range of primary cells, stem cells, and established cell lines, AffiGEL® products are suited for applications in cancer biology, tissue engineering, drug screening, and regenerative medicine research.
The AffiGEL® range includes formulations optimized for 2D monolayer culture as well as 3D scaffold-based and suspension culture formats, including hydrogels, basement membrane extracts, and tunable matrix systems. Each product is quality-controlled for consistent gelation properties, defined protein composition, and low endotoxin levels, ensuring reproducible results across experiments and enabling reliable comparison between 2D and 3D culture conditions.
