High Thermal Conductivity:
Superior thermal conductivity provides precise control of cycling temperatures PCR and realizes fast and efficient PCR amplification. The thermal conductivity was evaluated at the same time. Compared with the silmilar products of other brands, the results show that AffiGEN 8-tube PCR strips has higher thermal conductivity, which can effectively speed up reaction and save time.
Low Evaporativity:
AffiGEN PCR tubes are sealed with a insertion cap that reduces sample overflow and cross contamination. By weighing PCR tube before and after a thermal cycling, the data shows that the evaporated volume of reacation system in AffiGEN PCR 8-tube strip was less than 3%, which is significantly lower than Supplier A. It indicates that AffiGEN PCR 8-tube strips ensure a reliable experimental data.
Excellent Uniformity:
The differences between tubes will lead to poor reproducibility of experimental data, resulting in invalid results. The uniformity between tubes was evaluated by qPCR assays in the same system. As shown in the pictures, AffiGEN PCR 8-tube strips have good reproducibility.
High Sensitivity:
Low transparency and the presence of PCR inhibitors will adversely affect the amplification sensitivity. The amplification sensitivity was evaluated by qPCR assays in different systems. Compared with supplier A, AffiGEN PCR 8-tube strips have lower CT value, and ensure the amplification results.
