Overview
The Replication-Competent Lentivirus (RCL) Detection Kit is designed for the quantitative analysis of potential risks associated with replication-competent lentiviruses in cell products utilizing lentiviral vectors. The kit includes primers specific to the envelope protein VSV-G gene sequence of the lentivirus. It uses qPCR with fluorescent probes to specifically and quickly detect the presence of replication-competent lentivirus (RCL). The minimum detection limit of the kit is 1 copy/μL, and it comes with an RCL DNA Control (DNA quantitative reference). For optimal use, this kit should be paired with AffiGEN's magnetic bead method residual DNA sample pretreatment kit (Cat# AFG-YSN-296).
